Thank you, Texas! I am honored to be your Democratic nominee.
Together, we are going to beat Ted Cruz and give all Texans the leadership we need in the U.S. Senate. Join our team:
That's a picture of
@ManhattanDA
Alvin Bragg…
@TedCruz
, do you think all black people look alike, or is it just the people working for you that do?
Either way, can't wait for
@ColinAllredTX
to retire you in ‘24.
Ted Cruz would rather podcast 3x a week than serve the people of Texas and it’s time we replace him with a Senator who actually delivers for our state.
I’ve taken on a Republican incumbent before and won, and in 2024 we’re going to do it again.
Ted Cruz has shown Texans time and again that when our state is in a crisis, we can't count on him to be there.
We deserve a Senator whose team is Texas. Help me beat Ted Cruz:
Ken Paxton has been an embarrassment to our state for years, undermining the rule of law while he was supposed to be upholding it.
The Texas House’s vote today is a long overdue step towards accountability.
BIG NEWS!
Just announced a RECORD $85 billion 10-year statewide roadway construction plan.
This program is a critical step toward addressing the diverse needs of Texans in rural, urban, & metropolitan communities.
@TxDOT
I never knew my father, so I made a promise to myself a long time ago that when I became a dad, I'd do it right.
I was proud to be the first member of Congress to take paternity leave and will never stop fighting to give all parents the same opportunity.
I’ve been a part of some incredible teams in my life, but y’all have helped me raise over $2 million in just 36 hours since I announced my campaign to represent all Texans.
Together, we set a record for this cycle raising the most in the first day of a Senate campaign.
The struggles of regular Texans just don’t interest Ted Cruz.
Well, they matter to me. They’re my struggles too.
Together, we can defeat Ted Cruz.
Will you join the team? ➡️
Aly and I welcomed our son, Jordan, to the world last night in Dallas. We are so thankful to have a healthy, beautiful son. Our hearts couldn’t be more full.
Nothing would please me more than seeing an excellent candidate like
@ColinAllredTX
retire Ted so he can focus on his podcast... PERMANENTLY!
#ByeByeCancunCruz
Eight lives tragically cut short. As I grieve with my fellow Texans and pray for those who were injured, I won't accept that we are powerless to prevent this.
It's our responsibility as lawmakers to help make our communities safer. We must take common sense steps to save lives.
Texans don’t have to be embarrassed by our Senator. We can get a new one in 2024, but not without massive grassroots support. If you’re ready to help us fire Ted Cruz, chip in a couple bucks to our campaign today:
Families like mine out shopping on a Saturday will forever be changed by this awful tragedy. Some will not make it home. Aly and I are praying for all impacted by this.
Ted Cruz has spent over a decade being one of the most divisive figures in American politics.
It doesn’t have to be this way - it’s time for something new. Let’s get a new Senator in 2024.
RT if you agree.
This isn’t about red or blue or Republicans or Democrats. This is about how Ted Cruz is too extreme for Texas. We can’t afford six more years of Ted Cruz.
Join our campaign to help us win:
Not only has Ted Cruz spent the day defending Ken Paxton, he hired Paxton’s chief deputy, who defended his lies and violations of the public trust.
If Ken Paxton has been rejected on a bipartisan basis, so should Ted Cruz.
Whether it was growing up with a single mom, earning a full ride to Baylor, or winning a tough race to represent my home in Congress, I’ve overcome a lot of tough obstacles in my life.
Now, I’m running for Senate to take on Ted Cruz - and win.
Ted Cruz continues to undermine our justice system, writing off this indictment as a partisan attack without even seeing the damning evidence. It's clear he's more concerned about covering for his friends than making sure no one is above the law and protecting our national…
Ted Cruz voted to shut down the government yesterday. He voted to force our service members and CBP agents to go without pay, and to deny Texans and our small businesses resources we need.
Ted Cruz is too extreme for Texas. Together, we will replace him.
Claiming credit for something he voted no on is classic Ted Cruz.
I worked to pass the CHIPS Act because I knew Texas could lead in this important tech and it would create jobs. And as we celebrate one year of its investment, I will continue working so Texas can benefit big.
My boys are 5th-generation Texans, and they’ll learn that this state is full of generous people who look out for each other.
I’m running for Senate because I want them – and every kid – to grow up knowing that if they work hard and play by the rules, they can get ahead.
Being a dad is the most important job I'll ever have, which is why I was proud to take paternity leave.
I'm running for Senate because I believe my boys, and every kid in Texas, can't afford having Ted Cruz as their Senator for six more years.
Regardless of what happens with the Speaker vote today, Republicans owe their slim majority to gerrymandering in Texas where based on their share of the vote they should have 21 seats among the Texas delegation instead of the 25 they drew for themselves.
This is my Texas. Where saving lives isn’t a Democratic or Republican issue. Where legislators put aside differences to find common ground. Where working together we can solve our problems.
I do not take this decision lightly, but it is clear the President engaged in a serious abuse of power and committed an impeachable offense. As a member of the House, I must uphold the rule of law and defend the Constitution.
As a former football player, I’ve played on several teams throughout my life - but my team will always be Texas. Ted Cruz is only looking out for himself.
Whose team are you on? Join ours at
Ted Cruz wants to talk about what we can't do and how we should fear each other.
That's not my Texas. I was able to chase my version of the American dream because Texas is a big place full of generous people, and I'm fighting to help others do the same.
The current heat wave has Texas set to be hotter than 99% of the world this week. Yet, the radical Republicans running our state are denying workers water breaks in this heat.
Such callous, inhumane treatment doesn’t reflect who we are as Texans. If you’re ready to elect new…
Texans are being asked to step up to protect our grid because Republicans in Austin didn’t. It’s May, every Texan knows we have a lot hotter days ahead. It’s unacceptable that in the energy capital of the world Texans don’t know if they can rely on their lights and AC staying on.
Wow. We have outraised Ted Cruz by over $2 million thanks to y’all.
Ted is vulnerable and we can win this thing.
Please help us keep the momentum going and pitch in $5 today:
Pundits have called Texas a red state for decades, but the truth is Texas is a non-voting state.
To change that, our campaign is building an all-hands-on-deck effort to turn out the vote.

Delivering for Texas has been the focus of my time in Congress. I'm ready to do the same in the Senate.
Thanks
@DavidMartinDavi
for having me on to talk about why we can't afford six more years of Ted Cruz.
Happy Pride, Texas! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
This month and every month, I’m proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community and to fight for equal rights for ALL Americans.
As a parent, I worry about sending my little ones off to school. But it doesn't have to be this way. Our public places don't have to become memorials.
This keeps happening because of policy choices, including Ted Cruz blocking common sense reforms in the U.S. Senate.
My mom was a public school teacher and so many teachers shaped my life. I saw firsthand how dedicated teachers are and how we don't pay them enough.
This National Teacher Appreciation Week I'm committed to showing teachers how important they are to us by fighting for better pay.
Republicans are trying to stop us from voting because they know Texas is a battleground.
2024 is our chance to break through and show them that our voices will be heard. Join us at .
Ted Cruz podcasts 3x a week and abandoned our state during a deadly winter storm because he doesn't care about Texans. He only cares about himself.
I have and always will put Texans first.
Beyond grateful for this incredible support.
The grassroots momentum we’ve built these past 2 months confirms what we’ve know - that Texans don’t want to be embarrassed by their senator. They’re ready for a new one.
First, Ted Cruz voted against the CHIPS Act.
Now, he’s claiming credit for the thousands of semiconductor manufacturing jobs it’s bringing to Texas.
That’s Ted for you: all hat, no cattle.
Texas is a diverse, rapidly growing state full of generous folks that look out for one another.
Texans deserve a Senator who looks out for them – but Ted Cruz only looks out for himself.
Will you help grow our team by RTing this to reach 100k followers?
One week ago we launched our campaign to defeat Ted Cruz and ensure that Texans have a Senator who cares about serving them.
I've been humbled by the outpouring of support we've received so far. Let's keep it going—join our team:
According to
@InsideElections
, Texas is the ONLY Republican-held battleground Senate race.
Ted Cruz is vulnerable, and in 2024 we are going to vote him out. Help us make that happen ➡️
My name is Colin Allred. I’m a 4th-generation Texan, former NFL linebacker, voting rights attorney and dad to two boys.
And I’m going to beat Ted Cruz.
Hi Texas! It’s Aly, Colin’s wife, taking over his social media to let everyone know it’s his birthday today. He’s the best husband, dad and future Senator anyone could ask for. Join me in wishing him a very happy birthday!🎈
Texas women deserve better than this embarrassing ranking.
Instead of working to address this, Ted Cruz has led the charge to strip women of their rights and access to care. We need a Senator who fights so all Texas women can access the lifesaving care they need.…
FiveThirtyEight says our campaign to defeat Ted Cruz will be Democrats' best pickup opportunity in 2024. RT this post to spread the word and help us win.
Ted Cruz tried to overturn a free and fair election because he didn’t like the outcome. And when the mob that he whipped up stormed the Capitol, Ted hid in a supply closet.
In November we will elect a Senator dedicated to protecting our democracy.
Forcing pregnant women to flee our state. Threatening doctors and hospitals. Banning travel through counties. Does this sound like freedom to anyone?
In November, we’ll send Ted Cruz and his extremism packing.
Texans ought to have a Senator who is more focused on serving them than working with convicted seditionists to conspire to overthrow our government.
We deserve better than Ted Cruz. Join my fight to beat him in 2024: .
Getting big things done for Texas means working together. Something we need more of.
I will always work to reach across the aisle to deliver for Texas.
Some things I think are critical parts of being a Senator:
✅Being there when Texans are in crisis
✅Finding common ground to deliver for our state
✅Listening to Texans about what matters most
Ted Cruz?
He thinks doing 3 podcasts a week is critical.
Aly and I are so happy to share that we welcomed our son, Cameron, into the world last night. Everyone is healthy and we can’t wait to introduce Jordan to his little brother.
6 years in a U.S. Senate term. 52 weeks in a year. 3 episodes per week.
6x52x3= 936 hours Ted Cruz would spend podcasting instead of working on behalf of the people of Texas.
Even though he wants to take credit now, Ted Cruz voted AGAINST the CHIPS Act which just delivered thousands of new jobs and a $6.4 billion investment in Texas.
Texas needs a Senator who will put aside partisan politics to get things done.
Every morning at Hillcrest High School I had to walk through a metal detector. Any Members of Congress who can’t comply with this simple safety measure should at least have the decency to not yell at police who saved all of our lives last week and who haven’t had a day off since.
House GOP furious at new mags outside the chamber. Reps. Markwayne Mullin and Steve Womack erupted at Capitol Police as they were forced to go through the mags. Womack shouted “I was physically restrained!” And Mullin said “it’s my constitutional right” and “they cannot stop me
30 million Texans deserve a Senator who looks out for them, not one who only looks out for himself.

This victory would not have been made possible without you. This people-powered campaign has made history tonight and North Texans made their voice heard. Now the real work begins. Thank you North Texas!

Insinuating that Damar Hamlin’s injury was caused by a vaccine is a new low, even for Ted Cruz. I’m not surprised he deleted it.
Damar’s injury and his recovery showed sports ability to bring us together and our capacity for compassion. Something Ted Cruz will never understand.
I never knew my dad so I made a promise to myself long ago that when I became a father, I’d do it right. Even when that means folding laundry or packing lunches, being Jordan and Cameron’s dad is my greatest joy.
Wishing all my fellow dads a very happy Father’s Day!
The Governor of Texas is now saying we shouldn’t feed babies in our custody.
This is one of the most inhumane, barbaric statements I’ve ever seen. Matthew 25:40 must be uncomfortable reading for someone who could call for starving babies.
We are so much better than this.
Ted Cruz is nervous, and he should be. Because Texans know Ted and they know he only cares about himself.
Pitch in what you can so we can defeat him in November:
I am so proud to have been named among the most bipartisan members of the House. Ted Cruz? He won’t work with anyone.
We need a Senator who can work with everyone to deliver for Texas, not themselves.
This is a radical and dangerous platform. I want every Texan who is scared or embarrassed by this to know you're not alone. I'll never stop fighting for a Texas where everyone is welcome and safe.
The Texas GOP is trying to take us back—we won't let them.
Ted Cruz prioritizes being a content machine over a legislator.
Texans need a Senator who's willing to do the tough work of governing and finding common ground to deliver for them.
I'm ready to do just that.
1 year ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade allowing a total abortion ban to take effect in Texas — and Ted Cruz called it “a massive victory.”
It’s time our state had a Senator who trusts women to make their own medical decisions and who fights for women to access the…
If there's one thing I know about Texans, it's that we believe in freedom.
When we beat Ted Cruz and his extremism in November, we're going to restore abortion access and ensure Texas women have the freedom to make their own health care decisions.
Our campaign to beat Ted Cruz will be tough, but it’s far from a long shot. We’re going to win in 2024 the same way I won my races for Congress.
With Texans talking to Texans, and neighbors talking to neighbors.
Whether at Hillcrest High School, Baylor or the NFL, playing football taught me empathy, grit and selflessness. From the field to the locker room, being part of a team has shaped who I am and how I plan to serve as Senator for our home team: Texas.
My wife and I are raising our boys to be kind to everyone, to understand our differences, and to feel empowered to be whoever they want to be.
Those are the Texas values I grew up with. And those are the values we deserve in our next Senator.
