Memphis QB Brendon Lewis will be one of the Tigers' attendees at AAC media days later this month. Defensive lineman William Whitlow Jr. is the other. That's a pretty good indication of where the QB competition is headed.

Less than a year from now, the Pac-12 will be a fully-formed conference once again. How will the Pac-12 compare to the AAC in football? I dug in to the numbers and found that — assuming Memphis stays — the two conferences project to be pretty close.

I don’t think Memphis fans would be particularly excited about this one. By the way, the Tigers and Red Wolves restart a non-conference series in 2026.
