5 Habits to Make a Day Great:. 1. Choose to Rise & Shine (vs Rise & Whine).2. Write down 5 things you’re grateful for.3. Take a 10 minute “Thank You Walk” reflecting on your 5 things.4. Replace “HAVE to” with “GET to”.5. Trust in a bigger plan and purpose for your life.

Every concert I attend, whether vocal or instrumental, reminds me that our students shine in more than one way. We often hold GPAs & test scores as our measure of success, & I would argue that is such a limited viewpoint.
