So my PhD is in Cancer Sciences. If you're curious about applied NLP/AI in medicine, the pattern is patient/data before algorithms. E.g., patient engagement, ethical approval, secure programming environments, survival analysis, real-world evidence, clinical nuances.
I am back to school after 9 years of my first degree. In the next 4 years, I will be geeking and researching about applying Natural Language Processing to real-world patient data to optimise cancer care. Wúràọlá goes to School and yes, it is medical text just like I perceived😊
