"Let the torso feed both arms." Proximal to distal is the name of the game, there's no need to yank your glove arm.

Don’t be afraid to do what you need to when there are runners on base, especially if you struggle throwing out of the stretch compared to the windup. As long as you can repeat it every time and have a clear pause before the pitch, you’re good to go. @TheBaseballMec1

Stop swinging or reaching out with your front leg to create power when throwing. You’re not only wasting energy but also losing velocity. Instead, make it part of your load process. @TheBaseballMec1

Baseball is a game filled with uncontrollables. We have to focus on what we can control. We can control our training and we CAN improve bat speed through training. The original "bat speed" study was done nearly 50-years ago by Coope DeRenne. Numerous follow-up studies by

Does the front shoulder really pull off or out? You hear most coaches tell athletes, “You’re pulling off” or “You’re pulling your front shoulder.” In reality, it’s a posture issue. If the front shoulder is flying open, the hitter is probably having an issue with

Doing a figure 8 isn't just about making an 8 with your throwing arm. The best way to utilize the drill is to get your whole body into it and feel that loop of energy and then connecting that rhythm and stretch you created to throw the ball. @TheBaseballMec1

"I’m doing the extreme to bring it down to normal.” Training in extremes can help hitters develop the feel needed to move in a specific way that allows them to get their ‘A’ swing off consistently. What do you think about this drill? @hossjobhitting

Stop trying to actively rotate that back leg. Instead see how long you can load it so when it does fire its late and explosive. @TheBaseballMec1

When @Ashton_mayo15 joined Trosky Academy, he was already solid topping 86 mph EV at just 14. A little over a year later, his average exit velocity is higher than that, and he’s touched 101 multiple times. Can’t wait to see the monster he becomes in the next few years.
