@JumboElliott76 I sell furniture imported from Vietnam which is now subjected to a 20% tariff. We are not raising prices to our US customers. Why? First the tariff is on the wholesale price not the retail price. So 20% is more like 5%. Second, the manufacturer will eat some. Prices.

Who has oversight over Jerome Powell? I understand the desire for the Fed to be independent even though it really isn’t, but who has the ability to stop Powell from making huge errors? Congress I assume? He only reacts to a catastrophe or crisis. Powell is like a bumper car.
