Since this is blowing up I don't mind continuing some of my vague understanding of Peter.
His death occurred sometime in Rome during the persecution of Christians. He was crucified upside down at his own request because he felt unfit to die the same way Jesus did.

Generally speaking too, Peter is far more written about than any other disciple.
Others are either only revealed by name but have no documented books or dialogue on record. It's interesting how wide the gap is between him and the others.

In a lot of these cases it seems like these show creators wanted to do more story driven material from the get-go, but due to how network execs see narrative animation its easier to sneak stuff in the later seasons.

The night Jesus died he warned Peter that he would deny him three times, and Peter did, he refused to acknowledge he knew who Jesus was up to his crucifixion.
After Jesus came back he asked Peter if he loved him three times, signifying he forgave him.

I think I’ll end with one last pseudo fact, not about Peter.
It’s not entirely certain if Hell is real or not- as in all the original translations imply it was a physical place on Earth and not a place you’d go after dying.
What actually happens to tortured souls is a debate.

To my understanding it HAS to be a fantasy thing too with all the little details. Peter wasn't even gone that long in the comics for MJ to hook up with another guy who has no personality and is portrayed as a 'chad.'
