The Spurs aren’t ready to land Victor Wembanyama. I don’t think they’re prepared to do what’s necessary to build a team fitting for that level of talent. They’ll have a mess on their hands if they get him.

San Antonio needs to attract a football team, stick them in the Alamodome, and abandon their silly Dallas Cowboy fandom.
@TheFinalQuan We are the 7th largest city in the nation and growing. Frost Center will continue to attract concerts and is a multi award winning arena for the Rodeo. The Alamodome hosts all kinds of events as well from UTSA football (growing rapidly) the repurposed arena could end up NFL team.

That’s what Baltimore, Seattle, and every other city who lost a team. Why would you risk it, especially when the team has gone overly generous on their deal to the city?. They’re practically giving the arena to SA. If SA balks at this, the Spurs will (and should) leave.
