14 - A View to a Kill - This film has everything you could want. Brilliant cast. Christopher Walken is perfect! Patrick McGee was a surprise to see. Some amazing visuals and stunts. James feels more like a spy here and the plot serves the character better. 9/10.

I do question why the BBC gave this show a 9pm slot for three nights a week throughout the whole of September. If it was just one you might be able to justify it. But 3!.
RATINGS! #StrandedOnHoneymoonIsland started on BBC One last night with a very low figure of just 848k viewers. That’s almost 2 million lower than the launch of #DestinationX!. Davina did win the slot though… on ITV1, with #LongLostFamily! 😬

A spin-off is supposed to aid the main show, now it’s hindering it. No spin-off should have been commissioned until Disney renewed Doctor Who after the second season. It feels like at no point did BBC or Bad Wolf even contemplated that Disney might not renew.
Jane Tranter in the latest Television Magazine issue from RTS:. “only [after TWBTLATS airs], does Disney+ have to make a decision about whether or not they want to do more,” and “At its heart, it’s a BBC show and it will keep going, one way or another,”

I think the Doctor Who production team forget how long ago the 10th Doctor and Rose was. A 9-year old today could be born 10 years after Doomsday in 2016. An earliest possible memory of a new episode could be around Series 12 in 2020. It is too long ago to be relevant.

I watched the end of the live stream on my phone and it looked a lot better. Did some screengrabs. I don’t think it will be an issue when the box set comes out.

The livestream copy of Terror of the Zygons is in no way indicative of how it will look on the Blu-ray. The YouTube algorithms tends to play havoc with material it doesn’t consider true HD.
