Andy McTaggart and Rosie Lavery led with such enthusiasm, sharing some elements of the Kodály Method and brilliant tips on healthy singing using your full body. We even learned the mystical secrets of using the humble drinking straw as a practice tool!

🎵🎇 What a magnificent day of music-making! Last week, pupils from all three Ayrshire council areas came together for a special singing day at Ayr Town Hall led by the incredible Eamonn Dougan and Andy McTaggart, as part of The Cumnock Tryst's year-round programme.

Today we started back with @DrakeMusicScot at Hillside School as part of our multi-year project ‘The Unbroken Thread’! We will be working with a group of senior pupils and service users at the Riverside Centre until October to make music alongside players from the @HEB_Ensemble

Harry Christophers and The Sixteen are coming back to Cumnock! In 2014 The Sixteen opened the very first Tryst Festival with a concert at St John’s and now 10 years later we are delighted to be heading back to kick off the next 10 years of the Tryst and launch our 2025 Festival.
