Magnificent programme tonight at Slovak Philharmonic Hall. Brilliant conductor Juraj Valčuha and French soprano Marie Perbost performed majestic Psalm 47 by Florent Schmitt. Second half dedicated to masterpieces of Russian composers Igor Stravinsky and Sergei Prokofiev. 👏🎶

Productions such as #PeterGrimes will basically be a thing of the past. They will become occasional events, necessitating bringing in a great many freelancers only temporarily to swell the performing ranks. But a far cry from @WelshNatOpera as we know and love it. #SaveWNO
