Not great news. Company did not approve my remote request. Eh, their loss. I'm moving to my future husband come January. They can't do anything to stop it.

I have a one on one with my boss in a few minutes. I think it's going to be good news but prayers appreciated either way.

If you really want the UK to return to Christian values and post about this a lot, the first step is to stop living with your girlfriend.

An even smaller subsect of this which is rarely talked about is the 0 body count, single, early 30s woman, who remained faithful to God throughout her life yet hasn't found a husband yet.

Extremely under discussed in modern dating discourse: the low-body count, single, available woman who is just kinda socially awkward and shy and freaked out by the idea of anyone being attracted to her and has no idea how to get anything started.

It sounds stupid at first but it works. A few years ago I wanted to bring God into my professional life more . So I changed my office computer password to include some faith based word or phrase. Like "Je$u$" or "0urFather". My spiritual life really took off after that.

Still deciding on a cantor vs a choir for our Wedding Mass in December, but man if I won the lottery I'd tried to fly these guys out just to sing this hymn for Communion.

Ave Maria by Franz Biebl, performed by Chanticleer . "The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, .and she conceived by the Holy Spirit . Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you, .blessed are you among women, and blessed in the fruit of your womb, Jesus"

I'm a Catholic engineer who just turned 30. I spent my 20s not only growing professionally, but spiritually too. Below are 3 key things I did that deepened my faith in the Lord, which unexpectedly helped me excel in my career ๐Ÿงต.

attention is elsewhere. After I canceled all my plans on Sundays to make sure I went to Church and spent the rest of the day truly "resting", God was able to speak to me & give me clarity I so badly needed in my life. This practice improved my work life, family life & love life.

It is supposed to be a day of worship and rest. God literally wants to spend 1 day a week with us. It's like your mom calling you to her house, and you show up for 5 mins, then escape to the garage to putter about with your car. God wants to chat with you, but He can't when your.

a priest's homily about the topic did I stop the practice. God commands us to "keep the Sabbath day Holy". It even comes before the commandment to honor our father and mother. We aren't supposed to go grocery shopping, or do laundry, or even go to our son's T-ball game.

be a witness to God. That day it was a factory floor. 3. Put God first, always. I had a bad habit of "working" a couple hours on Sundays to reduce my workload for the week. What I didn't realize was that not only was that unnecessary, but it was also a sin. It was only after.

You would've never known because he's always smiling. I asked him for his brother's and mom's name and told him I wanted to pray for them. He got choked up. To me it's routine, for him, it was his first ever encounter with "prayer". You never know when or where you'll be asked to.

He mentioned he was a personal trainer before taking on this job. Through more conversation I got to know he came from a family of alcoholics, his brother recently succumbed to it and committed suicide and his mother died 6 months later because of the pain.
