Suggestions to fix Genomic Medicine in Ireland: 1. State funds national genome project. 2. State acquires Genomics Medicine Ireland / Genuity sequencing facility for national genome project. 3. State retrieves genomic data of people whose genomes have already been sequenced.

Lessons learnt from Genomics Medicine Ireland: 1. Don't give your DNA / genome to a company who can sell it on. 2. Don't invest taxpayers' money in a company that is going to up sticks at the first opportunity. 3. Invest in a public national genome project. But we knew this...
