Maryam Abdul Nasir, the Chief Debt Management Executive at the Maldives’ Ministry of Finance, highlighted that fostering networks and incorporating varied perspectives from key institutions are essential strategies for advancing climate-related policy.

These insights were noted to be crucial in enhancing fellows’ capacity to effectively carry out responsibilities within their respective ministries.

Atta Dabone Snr, the Principal Economics Officer at the Treasury & Debt Management Division of Ghana’s Ministry of Finance, found the insights shared by Former Costa Rica President H.E. Carlos Alvarado on debt management, fiscal space, and climate finance highly valuable.
