A decade of big money signings with little investment around them, constant resets at manager, and hostility from fans and the media towards players when they don’t “pan out.”
Frenkie de Jong is right to need convincing (

Cristiano Ronaldo does not offer what this team needs, and signing a player just because City wants them is a stupid move that has not worked for us in the past.

David Beckham is arguably the biggest celebrity that football has ever produced. But before he was a cultural icon, he was a genuinely world class player. Put some respect on his game.
There is a problem at Manchester United for enabling and supporting alleged perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence. This is a rampant problem in the sport and society. It’s sickening, and we sincerely hope that Mason Greenwood is not welcomed back.
From Jan. 2022:
The “romance” of Cristiano Ronaldo’s return is empty and uncomfortable, and the conscious efforts to idolize his character as well as footballing abilities is emblematic of a deeper problem.

This team, this manager, and this feeling that we’re witnessing the start of something special.
This is the one, this is the one we’ve waited for.

Wow, what a night in the Champions League. To turn it around so emphatically after going 0-2 down in the 1st leg is remarkable. Deserved win.

Luke Shaw signed for Manchester United with the expectation that he would become one of the best left-backs in the world. After several years blighted by injury and a sense of unfulfilled potential, he’s now delivering on that promise.
On February 6th, 1958 Harry Gregg ran into the burning wreckage of the crashed Manchester United team plane — on two separate occasions — to drag out teammates and strangers and pull them to safety.
We remember a club legend.
He’s been earmarked as the next midfield hope of the

academy since he made his debut at 17. Is James Garner good enough to make the grade at Manchester United?
If Ronaldo wants to ruin his United legacy by going to City that’s his decision. United abandoning the chance to sign a midfielder to actually help, just to buy into this dumb bid war, is detrimental to this team’s ambitions. The Glazers want to buy your loyalty, not success.
Marcus Rashford needs to "prioritise his football" if he is to meet the twin challenges of playing for club and country, says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pep Guardiola: "I have three heroes in life, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Julia Roberts. JR came to Manchester. She didn’t come to see us. Even if I win the CL, it will be a failure because of the disappointment of Julia Roberts going to United."
Memphis Depay update 🚨🇳🇱
#FCB
▫️ No advanced talks with Chelsea, as of now - focus on Auba;
▫️ Memphis closer to staying than leaving but it’s still a long day;
▫️ Termination of contract ready but only in case Depay will agree with another club, otherwise it won’t happen.
From literally the first minutes of this match United's major undoing was their inability to build up cleanly. A midfielder who addresses that directly was left on the bench the entire match.
The idea that anyone is worth this trouble and commitment just because they can play football is gross. This is an ongoing problem for the club and there’s no indication they’ll learn to do better, despite the vocal concern from fans and reportedly within the club itself.
Solskjaer tried to rest ONE core player today, and even that only lasted 45 mins. Easy to blame the lack of rotation for United looking clearly tired, but the lack of depth in this squad is shocking.
