Disillusioned by overlong cinematic-driven story games. Constantly begging for endlessly replayable mechanics-driven games where you can achieve a degree of mastery over time. Oh no...I'm a fighting game guy in denial

More talk prep. Gonna have another go at persuading people to cut their tiles along the dual grid instead of the main grid. I genuinely don't understand if this is rare because people don't know about it or if there is some drawback I'm not seeing.

We have card draw abilities! And a quick peek at some other Nature type cards I've added, I think Gremsprout is my fave so far. When Gremsprout loses all Power, they drain -1 from other Ally Nature cards in play and gain +2! #gamedev #indiedev #cardgame #screenshotsaturday

I've made loads of progress on the card game but I still need to add something visual so you can follow what's happening, which means I can't really show it off yet 😅 I've got some time today to work on it though, so hopefully an update to follow today!

I don't know what it is about doing state machines, but I always have a hard time with them - I just can't keep track of things..!
