The BBC really are a preposterous news organisation. On their website there are currently six stories about the killing of one man in Minneapolis. But not a single item about the massacres in Iran. This is biased and disproportionate beyond belief.

It is hard to think of other examples of security forces massacring at least 20,000 of their own citizens in the space of two or three days. That is political violence at the Stalin, Hitler and Mao level.

In Oct 2023, @BBCNews spent two weeks chasing a non-existent Israeli strike - desperately trying to prove an errant Jihad rocket was an Israeli strike (it wasn't). In Jan 2026, thousands are massacred in Iran - and the BBC can barely keep it on the homepage for a single day.
