Worst of all I feel so trapped by it. I go back, get my EE degree and then what!? I'm 30 and still at the fucking bottom, square one. I wonder what the bottom of my bottle of rum looks like. .

Today has been a truly awful day. I've become so embittered by a job market that has seemingly left me behind. I have two engineering degrees, and 5 years experience and what do the listing say? 78K. Meanwhile my EE friends are getting hired at 90K out of college.
