You’ve been chosen to live in this day. I’m looking at modern-day Davids, Elishas, Ruths, Esthers. Believe that you have the power of Christ in you. You are a giant killer, you are a barrier breaker, you are a history maker.

"Make yourself valuable. Doesn't matter what you're doing, just be the best you can at what you are doing. Don't do it for any promise of tomorrow, be in the moment and make yourself valuable." Don't try to be the most successful on the team. Try to be the most significant.

Even the smallest step can get you moving toward a better future. Do that thing that seems like just a little bit of a stretch. Face that task that intimidates you a little. That’s how you build your strength and confidence. That’s how you start believing in yourself again.

We feel pressure to fix things and take matters into our own hands. We strive and struggle, only to end up frustrated. Even with our good intentions, sometimes the best course of action is to leave things alone. That battle is not ours to fight; it belongs to the Lord.

You deserve all the blessings that are coming to you

There are people who need you to rise up to your potential. Your family. Your children. Your community. You can be the hero they need. You already have what it takes.

The Scripture says, “Come boldly to the throne of grace.” You won’t go boldly if you’re always begging. You won’t pray with confidence if you’re asking again and again for the same thing. You need to switch out of the asking mode and into the thanking mode.
