He has no unfinished business. And when you factor in the annual increased value, he made plenty of money last year. He is now starting to lie to his fans. Worst owner in all of sports.
So if winning isn’t a top 5 priority…what was this man’s unfinished business when he decided not sell the team? It clearly wasn’t making more money according to Arte he’s claiming the team lost money last season….

If Angels fans want to watch spring training games, they have to get in their car, drive 6 hours to Tempe, and buy a ticket. It's one thing to lose on the field. Now they can't even get that product to the fans that still support them.

“Committed to the young core” as NONE of them have long term extensions. Just another bold faced lie to cover up the fact that nothing meaningful was done to truly improve the team besides the G-rod trade. Blows my mind that Perry is clearly throwing in the towel as a MLB GM

The Dodgers are paying a grand total of $3 million in actual salaries this season to Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Tucker. Ohtani is being paid $2 million with $68 million deferred. Tucker is being paid a $1 million salary with a $64 million signing bonus due before spring training.
