Tempe Fire Medical Rescue just added new heart monitors to every firetruck and ambulance. They help paramedics see more, act faster and send real-time data to hospitals. One more way we’re working to save lives.

The Jaws of Life is a tool so powerful, it gives our team superhuman strength! .When a car is crushed or stuck, these rescue tools bend and cut through metal like butter, helping us get to those in need faster.

Illegal fireworks can cause fires and injuries. They can also be stressful for veterans, people with asthma or Autism. July 4 is one of the busiest days of the year for pet shelters. Report the use of illegal fireworks by calling 480-350-8311.

@PHXFire @ScottsdaleFire Crews have successfully contained the fire at the city’s compost pile at Rio Salado Parkway and Priest Drive. It will continue to smolder for several hours and Municipal Utilities crews will monitor it and apply water. Thank you, @PHXFire and @ScottsdaleFire #tempeaz #ourtempe.

This morning, a fire broke out at the Tempe compost yard at Priest Drive and Rio Salado Parkway. Thank you to Phoenix Fire, Scottsdale Fire and Municipal Utilities for assisting us. There is no green waste disposal today at this facility because of the fire.
