Sacramento Democrats want to silence the voice of California citizens and replace the independent redistricting commission with maps drawn behind closed doors by politicians to guarantee their re-election. Vote NO on Prop 50 this November.

The vote on Prop 50 this November can be confusing, so let’s keep it simple:. “YES” vote = gives even more power to politicians.“NO” vote = keeps power with citizens, like you. Who do you think should have more power?

More than 68% of Californians voted for Prop 36 last November because they are sick and tired of rising crime and the growth of homeless on our streets. Gavin Newsom was one of the few out of touch radicals who opposed Prop 36. He was wrong then, and he’s wrong now.

To no one’s surprise, Sacramento Democrats are trying to fool California voters once again. They know Californians support the independent citizens redistricting commission, so they are trying to confuse them with a misleading ballot title and summary so they can grab power away.

JUST IN: We have the proposed ballot label and summary for Gavin Newsom's gerrymander Prop 50, barring any court-ordered changes that would need to be handed down by September 4th. AUTHORIZES TEMPORARY CHANGES TO CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT MAPS IN RESPONSE TO TEXAS' PARTISAN

Gavin Newsom is desperate to take power away from California citizens and hand it to politicians to gerrymander district maps so they can choose their own voters. Vote NO on Prop 50 to stop Newsom’s power grab.

Gov. Newsom's power grab redistricting scheme takes an axe to the CA Constitution to deny citizens their protected rights to participate in the independent redistricting commission's process of drawing congressional district maps. His scheme violates the CA Constitution.

Just filed a lawsuit asking the California Supreme Court to stop the special election currently scheduled for November 4th because the California legislature and Gavin Newsom violated the California Constitution in putting this ballot imitative on the ballot. 🧵

If you live in the 63rd Assembly District, it’s time to return your ballot before the August 26th special election! Natasha Johnson is the proven leader Riverside County needs fighting for us in Sacramento.

This is why 65% of Riverside County voters cast a ballot to give the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission the power to draw congressional districts. Instead of respecting the will of the people, Sacramento Democrats are stripping power away from citizens. NO on Prop 50!.

Remember their names. The California legislators who voted "Aye" voted to grab power from the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission and allow Democrats in Congress to draw their own districts behind closed doors.

Sacramento Democrats are rushing to strip California citizens of their rights to participate in an independent redistricting process and replace it with a secret process where politicians draw their own districts behind closed doors to guarantee their re-election.

After careful review, we found you are a California Democratic Party subsidiary working to take power away from the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission.

After careful review, we found CA meets 6/6 of our fairness criteria—covering racial equity, public participation, and more. TX on the other hand meets 0/6 criteria. We will always fight for fair maps, fair representation, and people-powered democracy in every state.

California Common Cause has revealed itself as nothing more than an offshoot of the California Democratic Party. It's now an accomplice in the effort to eliminate the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission.

EXCLUSIVE: California Common Cause advisory board members quit in gerrymandering fallout. It's a fraught moment for an organization that has historically fought the kinds of partisan map-drawing that California Dems are now pursuing.

"By a number of measures of gerrymandering — or manipulating district boundaries to engineer partisan advantage — the Chronicle finds California's proposed new congressional maps are decidedly less fair than the current ones."
