Protected urea is 30% cheaper than CAN and emits 71% less GHG emissions so FutureBeef farmer Olivia Hynes is definitely going to use it. But with one tractor and pro-urea only available in half tonne bags, Olivia needed a safe solution and she got one in a fertiliser platform

I aim for calves to be 90kg by 9 weeks of age (0.7kg ADG).
The calves are fed milk once a day and all the meal they can eat from when they arrive at 3 weeks old
