I’m curious as to what voices are being left out @NCTM based on your “equitable” practice?
I need more information about the @NCTM virtual conference before I can commit to speaking. 1) Why must a speaker pay to present? We make the conference happen by giving you content that you reuse, as well as our time & expertise. Offer us free access if you can’t pay us. 1/6

The impressive turnout in Michigan this election was due at least in part to the students at MSU, Umich & campuses across the state who waited hours in line to cast a ballot. You guys did your civic duty and then some. The future in Michigan is looking bright!
Hours after the UMMA polling station officially closed, over a hundred voters stood bundled up with blankets as they waited in line for same-day registration.
