Conejo Valley peeps, did you catch the absurd article in the @TOAcornNews highlighting McNamee's claim that some of his campaign signs were stolen? Did they let him write it himself? "Reports" to whom? Law enforcement? Doubtful. @MakenaHuey? Wouldn't "claims" be more correct?

These little tags may signify the “Gushing wound of retail theft” but maybe they are also an indicator of the excessively high prices for meat plus the need for hungry people to find good sustenance in any way. Pasta and beans from a Food Bank only go so far.

Today the Board of Supervisors approved naming the Oxnard Family Justice Center after the late County Supervisor Carmen Ramirez. ❤️💜 The Carmen Ramirez Family Justice Center is expected to open in Oxnard by summer 2024.
