As antisemitism rises in NYC, @SpeakerMenin legislative package meets the moment with real action. I look forward to working with her and our broad coalition of faith-based nonpublic schools to expand protections where they’re needed most.
The @NYCCouncil is at the Museum of Jewish Heritage to announce our five-point action plan to combat antisemitism: 1️⃣ Investing $1.25 million to support Holocaust education 2️⃣ Establishing a safe perimeter around entrances to schools and houses of worship 3️⃣ Establishing a

When I recently saw @CardinalDolan following the passing of Rabbi Hauer zt”l, his genuine warmth and heartfelt condolences stayed with me. That same spirit defined our work together supporting and protecting faith based school communities with care, respect, and resolve.
Pope Leo XIV has accepted the resignation of Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan from pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of New York upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 75, and appointed Bishop Ronald A. Hicks of Joliet, Ill. as Archbishop of New York.

The unimaginable happened last night. Two Jewish lives, Israeli Embassy staffers, were stolen from us in the name of a “movement” that continues to fan the flames of antisemitism in America and around the world. Jews are waking up more scared than ever. Scared to go to

As part of my 2025 State of the State agenda, I’m making sure that every child across New York is fed with Universal School Breakfast & Lunch. With our historic plan, we’ll give children the food they need to thrive while saving families $165 per child in groceries each month.

“The passage of this critical expansion of Local Law 2 represents a big step in protecting more of our students, including those that attend Jewish, Islamic, and Catholic schools – which is especially critical at this time when faith-based crimes are at an all-time high,”
It doesn't matter what type of school their kids attend, public or private, every New York City parent deserves the peace of mind that comes with knowing their children are safe while in school. That's non-negotiable. My bill will make this happen.
