Yall mfs be making everything black or havin to do with blackness West African except West Africans cause they don’t exist to yall, just Yoruba. Black people are not all the same. We are not all Yoruba. There’s so much more than Yoruba in West Africa alone. Please update Wiki.

African Traditional Religions do not recruit people, they accept or reject people. Nobody should ever be pressuring you to join. You should be determining what resonates with you and then they should be determining if you are accepted. Recruitment by force is predatory.

There is a lot of predatory behavior in spirituality. If an elder implies or flat out says they want to have sex with you, RUN. They can be your lover OR your elder, NEVER BOTH. And once they are one, there is no going back to the other, EVER.

To whom it may concern, Our religion is protected under the First Amendment. One of our beliefs is to not get involved in conflicts that do not directly involve us. Please do not ask us to engage in politics or conflicts involving other religious beliefs. Thank you.

I been writing about spirituality, rituals, ceremonies and histories for years. An elder speaks, people come up with reason to ignore, debate and even slander. Then people wonder why psychosis is tearing yall up. https://t.co/huGVC6HXYX

Doing a love spell at all is crazy work. Consent ALWAYS matters, not just sometimes. Love spells violate consent. They are a spiritual attack. When people be askin me about them I tell them be careful who you love spell cause if you do it on the wrong one...

Ask them for their qualifications. High priestess of what? Who gave you said title? How long have you had said title? What is the lineage your title comes from? Where does that practice come from? Bet you 99.99% fail to answer in a logical way.
@TataRompePecho You know how many readers I see self proclaim themselves as a high priestess lol

They never burned the witches. They just burned women under the guise of witchcraft. There has always been a Christian excuse dehumanizing people to justify their treatment. Look how the Pope justified the invasion of Africa and enslavement of its people…
The witches they couldn’t burn and the goddesses they left out of the holy texts, are the divine women now. The revolution embodied.

The truth is, a lot of them use the title spiritualist to sell services/products and they’re not as broke as you would think. Most of them also have no qualifications to explain such a high price but that’s the price. I have even seen some of them “broke” ones flexin later on.
Someone smarter than me please explain?? There are "Spiritualists" who email regular newsletters (several) to their audience talking about how they cant pay their bills, and their electricity will be turned off (!) if they cant book readings, urging the clients to book,

Sometimes they do guide you... even uninitiated. Thats actually how people tend to end up at closed practices. They were guided to them.
With full respect to closed practices and initiation rites, I was telling someone a few months ago how special it is that some of us receive guidance + guardianship along our paths even when we are not formally part of certain religions or traditions.

To us it’s just normal. It’s normal to grow up knowing all about the Oricha, the Kongo… etc. Nothing special. I’m just normal and my experiences is too. Nah no way. We are so fuckin blessed.

Some of us really were blessed to grow up just in our practices and traditions while other found them later on. What’s wild is when you grow up in them like I did, you don’t even think about how blessed you are until you really sit with the idea that others really didn’t.
i always envy people who’s family openly taught them their spiritual practices. i’ve seen my grandma clear negative spirits away with a clay pot just to be shushed and yelled at when i asked what our spiritual history is. christianity was the original cia. 😭

TEACHERS DON’T CHASE STUDENTS, PREDATORS DO!
some people be out here looking for students for their teachings when that isn't how that works lmfaooo. that equates to where religion invades the spiritual boundaries of roots. students will derive to you when they desire to be taught and if a teacher found you, you're being
