IG Maps couldn’t even auto-enable on my phone because I DO NOT grant apps location access by default. I don’t event play like that. This is your sign to do a settings sweep. Your data is currency; stop handing it over for free.

The new IG maps update is a good reminder: data privacy isn’t just a tech issue, it’s a personal responsibility. We may not control how platforms use our data but we can control what we give them. Start w/ your settings. Opt out where you can.
