So I’ve been gone a minute. And I’ve missed y’all.
The ponies and I hit the rodeo trail hard this year. 20 entries in total and it earned us my first finals jacket and back number (with my name on it!).
Did it go according to plan? Hell no.
But I’d have it no other way 🤠❤️.
To the restaurant owners, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, personal trainers, gym owners, hair stylists, DJ’s, wedding planners and musicians, this movement is for you too.
Sandy is here with his two sons (9 & 11), from Slave Lake, AB. I chatted with the young men. Articulate, mature and they have been helping their dad manage meals for the truckers. They like team roping (yes!!!) and hunting. They said they’re not leaving until the mandates are out
It’s beautifully surreal here. I will try to describe my walk last night in a few tweets when I get the chance to.
But please, come if you can, this is a monumental moment in Canadian history. It’s incredibly important that you try. It’s safe, clean and filled with hope.
In what feels like 5 minutes, the Canadian government has eroded trust in financial institutions, the healthcare system, law enforcement, the judicial system and the federal government itself.
What’s left?
Canadians, you have been robbed of 20 months of experiences, memories, travel and living that you are NEVER getting back. Stop it. Otherwise it’ll be another 20 months.
It’s Sunday and I want to put out a positive tweet:
When we get the mandates dropped and get our freedoms back, friends, I want us to have a party of epic proportions in Alberta. I need it.
Please and thank you.
Here it is. So our convoy got split up into multiple homes to stay and every family made us meals. Folks that put us up don’t know us from Adam, but it feels like we’ve known them for years. My heart is so full.
Oh and two of the families in the picture started with us in YYC.
Muslim here.
10 years in rural Alberta.
Never once saw a hint of discrimination, just the most loving and welcoming people on the planet.
But of course, when the polls are trailing, this locks in the Mississauga voting corridor who vote on platitudes rather than policy.
Islamophobia and discrimination are unacceptable. Period. Today, we’re appointing
@AmiraElghawaby
as Canada’s first Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia to help end this hate – and to build a better future for everyone. More here:
I won’t RT to give them an even bigger platform, but man, whomever’s been writing the Ottawa Police tweets has really been taking pages out of dystopian novels. Holy sh*t. It’s bad. It’s so incredibly aggressive.
Whoever you are, how do you live with yourself?
Trucks or not, if you’ve felt a sense of hope over the last three weeks, build on it.
I know it’s tough right now, but we can’t let despair win over hope.
This is the biggest movement in modern Canadian history. It’s united us. Coming with a message of hope, strength, freedom and peace.
#FreedomsSecondWave
Never forget that we live with a government that over the last two years asked you to snitch on your neighbours, stripped away your mobility and came after your livelihood.
Cut out the noise and the rumors.
It’s still safe and peaceful. The trucks haven’t gone anywhere. You might as well rename Wellington to BigRig Blvd.
It’s about freedom and choice. That’s all.
Good night you awesome patriots.
It’s cute that Butts thinks that someone is funding Marty’s organic trend.
It’s tough for Butts to think that someone might have a different viewpoint and it comes from ordinary but awesome Canadians.
Well done Marty, and well done to all of you that have shared your stories.
What should have always been a private and confidential conversation between you and your doctor became a public one between you and your politician, employer, family, friends, airline, server and the court of public opinion.
I crashed a trucker safety meeting this morning. The message is that of safety, peace and positivity. Very organized.
I passed out cards, treats and donations I got from kids in Calgary and got tears of happiness from a few grown men in return.
There is hope. Lots of it.
So on the same day, it has been decided by the 🇨🇦 federal govt that:
1) You can't travel in/out of Canada depending on your medical status
2) You can't legally own a handgun despite going through a lengthy licensing and criminal background checking process.
What's next?
There is zero point in putting energy being angry at Trudeau.
I’m going to put every ounce of energy I have into the Western independence movement. At all levels. All parties.
The Western way is to always chart our own fierce, independent path.
Stay tuned.
To the residents of Ottawa Centre asking the

You gave us the gift of Catherine McKenna for 6 years.
It’s been 6 days. Consider this your repentance, and it’s a long time until you make amends.
I’m a Master’s educated, Middle Eastern immigrant, a business owner and a rodeo contestant. I moved here for a fierce love of Alberta’s culture and entrepreneurialism.
According to the NDP, I’m an embarrassing cousin sewer rat that should walk or take the bus.

For those complaining that "44 years of consecutive conservative govts got us in this mess in Alberta":
Actually, 44 years gave us the most entrepreneurial, lowest tax and most prosperous province in the country that paid for everyone else's financial blunders.
As the one of the largest police operations in the country’s history commences in Ottawa, please follow Justin Trudeau’s account for a live update on the Canadian team’s performance from the Olympics in China.
You know, just so you’re not missing out and all.
Justin Trudeau:
Aga Khan Vacation: Survived
SNC-Lavalin: Survived
WE Charity: Survived
Use of Emergencies Act: Survived
RCMP Meddling: Survived
What will it take for Toronto to stop giving us this “gift”?
What will change their minds?
For those out east asking Alberta not to leave because you “need” our conservative votes, I say you actually don’t.
By the time MB starts counting the government is decided, and the east has given us the gift of three Trudeau governments, and I’d likely bet they’d do it again.
A strong hunch tells me that if an election was called today, the Maritimes, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver will still automatically vote in Trudeau.
Do you still want to be attached to them, or take control of your own fate?
The Canadian federal election is essentially a municipal election for Toronto and Montreal.
Friends, the sooner folks in Alberta and Saskatchewan realize we have ZERO control on whether Trudeau stays or goes, the faster we can make change for ourselves.
Assuming ArriveCan drops on September 30:
It was 335 days that Canadian citizens were discriminated against based on their medical choices for travel in and out of their country.
Every tyrant falls: Saddam, Mubarak and Gaddafi (among others) all fell during my young adult years living in the Middle East.
I’ll be damned if a petulant, vain, manchild trust fund baby gets me worried.
Eastern Canada can keep him.
The West has bigger and better plans.
If Canadians protested as much for the well-being of their own country as they did for others (read: previously Ukraine, now Iran), we’d be in a much better place as a country.
There’s exactly 4 of you - trolls - who DON’T follow me, yet make it a point to attack my posts every single day.
It makes my heart happy that you take time out of your day to come check out my feed and put an effort into commenting. I’m flattered.
I will never block you!
☺️
In 2011 it took 17 days and 2 million people protesting in Tahrir Square in Egypt to force the resignation of Hosni Mubarak, after 30 years of dictatorial rule.
It will take as long as it needs friends. This is the last stand.

Uhm. Alberta is ALREADY a landlocked province in its own “country”.
Let’s flip the narrative: imagine what it’ll be like when WE cut the rest of you off.
From our money, resources and transport access.
How will that work out for ya?
Yes!!!
And so it begins!
Grande Prairie City Council votes to kick out the RCMP in favour of their own municipal police service.
Alberta first, and always.
In the next coming weeks I’ll be on a mission to expose the disaster each of the NDP Calgary candidates are. Every single one.
Why Calgary?
Because the UCP have rural AB in a lock and all 20 seats in Edmonton are going to the NDP
The future of AB will be won or lost in Calgary
Friends, if you want a sense of normal among freedom loving, friendly folks with no masking, no vaxpass and wide open capacity, come visit Alberta.
It’s also gorgeous.
Man. This (adopted) Albertan is beaming with Western pride today. This is at the Milk River/Coutts roadblock.
Finally home, and ready to drive to Ottawa tomorrow, and I couldn’t think of a better reason why to, because it’s

.
With much hope and optimism, T.
Canadians still can’t fly within/out of their country unrestricted (even a money grabbing negative test option is not available) and employers can still trample on one’s medical privacy.
That is my focus.
Then the carbon tax. Oh I can’t wait for that fight.
This was my most liked tweet, ever. 66K likes.
I took a picture of this gentleman right on Parliament Hill. I wish I asked for his name, but it really stood out for me as I was walking by.
Foreboding in many ways.
Do I think Trudeau will survive using a mass murder for political gain?
Absolutely.
Why?
His voters don't care. They've been handed proof of multiple scandals, a collapsing economy and healthcare system, incompetence and still turned out to vote for him 3 times in a row.
I can’t begin to tell you the hope, optimism and pride
@Tamara_MVC
fills my heart with.
The history books are going to write about her, and her energy is unbelievable.
❤️
It was a busy, frigid night in Ottawa.
Between the cabinet meeting tonight, the negations to relocate tomorrow and the motion tabled to end mandates, I’m hopeful and optimistic that we’ll see a return of freedom, and soon. Keep the pressure and momentum on.
Good night loves.
The liberal cities of Ottawa, the GTA and Montreal (alone) have 72 federal seats.
The entire provinces of AB and SK put together have 48.
What makes you think the two big cities are going to vote any different?
We need out. We need our own government.
#AdiosOttawa
A vast majority of the restaurant owners that remained open in downtown Ottawa came from ethnic minorities that lived under corrupt, oppressive governments.
They knew. They understood.
You will always have my respect and business, and thank you for opening your doors.
To those who continue to wear masks after the mandates are dropped, that’s okay.
To those who stop, don’t antagonize those who still do.
Superspread your smiles until they feel comfortable enough to smile back. Show them life is happier with fresh air ❤️.
In her first meeting with Prime Minister Trudeau, Danielle Smith takes aim at 'Just Transition' legislation and the proposed emissions cap on the energy sector.
So far the
#FreedomConvoy2022
has:
1 Brought unity and hope to Canadians like never before in the last 2 years
2 Thanked O’Toole for his service
3 AB, SK and MB started folding their restrictions
4 Been incredibly peaceful
Tell me the movement is not working.
