If you had the opportunity to play after high school (at whatever level) and are now coaching young players… coach them from your heart and not your resume. Teach them to love the game like someone once did for you. It’s amazing what you can unlock when trust is built.

One of the hardest working players I’ve been around. Pumped to see what else he has in store this spring and onward.

Long time ago a mentor of mine said,. “If you cant defend you will not play”. He added- “if you can’t defend, your only shot is to hit an absolute ton which very few guys actually have the capability to do”. Coaches want ball players, not kids who play baseball.

If you want to play D1 baseball. have you watched any of it this spring? If you have, do you not just think but BELIEVE you can compete at that level? . In order to even have a chance… there can be no doubt in your mind. Stay patient with your opportunity to show it.
