🚨🚨Nats Madness🚨🚨
And without a doubt, Mr. National Ryan Zimmerman had been crowned your favorite Nationals of all time!
Thanks for following along everyone!
Stephen Strasburg is completely shut down from physical activity again and is dealing with "severe nerve damage," as three people familiar with his situation put it.
More on his grim outlook here:
The man who made us believe in Nationals baseball with one of the best debuts ever.
One of the best postseason pitchers ever.
World Series MVP.
Nothing but the best for this legend. We love you Stras ❤️
BREAKING: Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg will retire. The World Series MVP and former No. 1 pick in the draft, who couldn't overcome complications from thoracic outlet syndrome, is tentatively planning a September announcement. (w

The Washington Nationals completed the 4-0 sweep vs the St, Louis Cardinals, clinching their first World Series birth in franchise history ❤️
All Star. World Series MVP. World Series Champion. One of the greatest pitchers in playoff history.
Stephen Strasburg is an all time great.
Thank you legend.
My heart is just absolutely broken for Stone Garrett.
He was one of the biggest bright spots on this 2023 Nationals team.
Such a good guy, teammate, and player.
Know the comeback is going to be absolutely legendary.
Prayers up for the man 🙏🏻🗿
Bryce Harper in Games 6-7 of the NLCS after wearing all black for the Diamondbacks “funeral”:
0-7 🥶
3 strikeouts 💔
“When the lights are the brightest, Bryce shows up.”
144 years and 2 World Series victories for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Goodnight, MVBryce. Maybe next year.
It’s time to address the Juan Soto trade once again.
I was very against it, but it’s clear I was very wrong.
Soto is awesome, but his defense and ~140 wRC+ish bat makes him a ~4 war player.
Abrams and Gore with 6 years of control is worth it alone.
This is just the start.
CJ Abrams is now 3rd in the National League with 26 steals.
Just stole his 23rd in a row which is the longest active streak.
He had 9 steals through his first 77 games…
And has 17 steals over his last 26 games.
22 Year old CJ Abrams is bustin’ loose.
1) Mookie Betts
2) Bobby Witt Jr
3) Gunnar Henderson
4) CJ Abrams
5) Corey Seager
6) Trea Turner
Argue with a wall of you disagree.
CJ Abrams is a top 5 shortstop.
Tyler Clippard has announced his retirement.
In a Nats uniform:
2008-2014, 2022
418 Games (Franchise high)
469 Innings
534 Strikeouts
1.06 WHIP
34 Saves
2.72 ERA
146 ERA+
And only 1 run allowed in 6 postseason outings.
Guy was an absolute stud. Thank you legend 🙏🏻
The Washington Nationals are 10-5 their last 15 games.
10-2 their last 12 games at home.
They are also 20-16 their last 36 games with series wins vs the Padres, Mariners, Rangers, Giants🧹, Brewers, and Reds.
Goodnight.
Mitchell Parker’s day is done vs the Astros:
7 Innings
3 Hits
0 Walks
0 Runs
8 Strikeouts
73 Pitches, 57 Strikes
The Nats may have found a stud ladies and gentleman
Josiah Gray stats since his first start:
5 starts
28 2/3 innings
23 hits
11 walks
27 strikeouts
5 earned runs
1(!!!!) home run allowed
1.57 ERA
Putting the league on notice.
My favorite Sean Doolittle moment in a Nationals uniform closing out Game 5 or the 2019 NLDS❤️
Couldn’t be more grateful for his impact on and off the field.
In DC:
153 Appearances
148 Innings
2.92 ERA
169 strikeouts
75 Saves
1x All Star ⭐️
And a World Series Champion🏆❤️
Kyle Finnegan has been UNTOUCHABLE IN 2023 since his 3rd appearance:
42 Games
43 2/3 Innings
33 Hits
11 Walks
45 Strikeouts
1.61 ERA
0.99 WHIP
Shoutout to the Nats broadcast for bringing this up. We may not be good, but we can be fun.

The Ultimate WerthQuake- 10/11/2012
Jayson Werth walks off the Cardinals and Lance Lynn winning a 13 pitch battle and Game 4 with a line drive home run to left field in the 9th.
Goosebumps every. single. time.
One of my favorite Nationals since 2019.
Left it all out on the field, an extra base hitting machine, smooth as silk at third base, and always brought energy.
Did everything we could ask for and 10x more.
Best of luck in Chicago, Jeimer Candelario. DC will always love you 🍬
An annual tradition like no other.
With Opening Day tomorrow, and the 2024 season officially upon us, it’s time to put the 71-91 2023 Nationals season to rest.
So, here is the 2023 Nationals: Key and Peele edition.
Didn’t end in the magic we had hoped for, but a round of applause for the boy Joan Adon.
6 Innings
3 Hits
3 Runs
0 Walks
7 Strikeouts
First 5 2/3 innings were perfect. He deserves another start.
Jake Irvin has been very solid since getting his start skipped in mid June.
Since then:
13 Starts
73 2/3 Innings
69 Hits
21 Walks
27 Runs
61 Strikeouts
3.30 ERA
I’ll take that line any single day of the week.
.500 record 28 games through the season.
First 4 game sweep since 2019.
Put up 30 runs in 4 games including a 7 run comeback yesterday.
Not saying we’re a playoff team, but this Nats ball club is trending up.
And, they might even be fun.
Great to see World Series Champion Adam Eaton on the broadcast💨
Never got enough credit for his:
.302 BA // .433 OBP // .560 SLG and 2 Home Runs in the World Series.
Josiah Gray his past two outings against the Rockies at Coors and vs the Angels
11 2/3 innings
3 runs
1 home run (solo shot)
3 walks
9 strikeouts
2.32 ERA
He’s here.
Can we please talk about how unbelievable Trevor Williams has been this season?
In 10 starts:
51 Innings
41 Hits
2 Home Runs
14 Walks
43 Strikeouts
2.29 ERA
2.77 FIP
172 ERA+
1.6 bWAR
A completely new pitcher.

Jayson Werth Gives One of the Best Post Game Press Conferences of All Time- 06/16/2016
After Jayson walks off the Cubs 5-4 in the 12th,
@masnKolko
and Jayson have a moment us Nats fans may never forget…
Nats potential lineup in June:
SS CJ Abrams
RF Lane Thomas
CF James Wood
LF Jesse Winker
3B Nick Senzel
1B Joey Gallo
DH Stone Garrett
2B Luis García Jr
C Keibert Ruiz
Interesting…
It's easy to see why myself and so many others are so high on MacKenzie Gore when his stuff is on like it is today.
Truly is an ace in the making if he can get fully right.
Nats vs Reds series takeaways:
- CJ Abrams is an All-Star
- Worried about my boy Lane against tough righties
- Josiah Gray still needs to fix the major control problems
- Jesse Winker may have some juice left
- Trey Lipscombs glove is legit, hopefully the bat can keep up
Skip Josiah Gray’s next start.
Once again, good progress this year, but still such a long way to go.
The walks and non competitive pitches are so frustrating to watch.
He needs a reset and to finish the year strong

NATS WIN THE 2019 World Series!!- 10/30/2019
HAPPY OPENING DAY!!
Bumpy roads lead to beautiful places… and this was a beautiful place! One day, we will end up back on top.
This team is absolutely unbelievable.
We win that game 0.0% of the time last year.
You won’t find a team under .500 as fun as the Nats to watch. My goodness
Don’t let another Nats offensive dud takeaway from Josiah Gray having one of his best starts of the year:
6 1/3 Innings
5 Hits
2 Earned runs
0(!!) Walks- Tied season high
10(!!!!) Strikeouts- Season high
13 Whiffs
88 Pitches/ 62 Strikes (70.4%)
Great to see him back on track🔥
Riley Adams is putting together one of the best seasons I’ve ever seen with such limited playing time
People laughed when I called him the best backup catcher in baseball
