Celebrating the end of 2024 with our new publication led by @SuiyangLiao: we investigate the role of empty LNPs on transfection efficiency of mRNA- turns out they’re not just silent bystanders, and there’s a balance in how loaded you want your particles:
pubs.acs.org
When formulating mRNA into lipid nanoparticles (LNP), various copy numbers of mRNA are encapsulated, leading to a distribution of mRNA loading levels within the LNPs. It is unclear whether the mRNA...

Super excited to finally post about our RNA foundation model, led by our very own Ali Saberi (not on Twitter), with @genophoria , @AminMEmad , and @vram142. LoRNA-SH is splice-aware, takes as input the entire pre-mRNA, and models isoform diversity https://t.co/oPpYVYEEEP 1/n

What is the best strategy to quantify mRNA isoforms? Short-read RNA-seq to achieve high depth? Or long reads to get unambiguous read-isoform assignments? In our latest work with @genophoria, we show that what we really need is to combine both! (1/n)

Accurate quantification of transcript isoforms is crucial for understanding gene regulation, functional diversity, and cellular behavior. Existing RNA sequencing methods have significant limitations:...

All cholangiocarcinoma patients deserve hope….for those with an FGF2R translocation/fusion, pemigatinib provides that hope.
We've responded to @ArndtVogel and Dr. Jennifer Knox's call and sent a letter to Ontario Health Ministers and MPs from C3's co-founder @auer_r 📢 Our voice NEEDS to be heard! Lives depend on it. Join together for cholangiocarcinoma 💚🤝 @ONThealth

So grateful to @cancersociety for funding and showcasing our research @USherbrooke on a therapeutic vaccine for triple negative breast cancer. It's a privilege to contribute to cancer research and strive for breakthroughs that can change lives.
Dr Tai’s work is a perfect example of what it takes to take on cancer: all of us. After all, nothing big gets solved by one person or one organization. And something that’s deeply true about cancer is that it’s big and endlessly complex. So here’s to taking it on together. 💛
