However, there are many core democrats that want a much more aggressive approach. We watched, disappointed, during the last admin. Every bipartisan effort was rejected. DOJ tried to move-on, and Trump escaped even facing justice. Some of us are past wanting "normal" 2/2

This story is actually insane: • dude drops $2000 on a DJI robot vacuum like a lunatic • refuses to use the normal app like a peasant • Sammy Azdoufal fires up Claude to crack the API so he can drive it with an xbox controller • Claude delivers the goods • pulls an auth

My dude, it was a balloon. You shot down a party balloon. No, we don't need a tweet announcing how you acted swiftly to shoot a balloon. What we do need, however, is an apology for shutting down commercial airspace and acting like this was a national emergency.
The FAA and DOW acted swiftly to address a cartel drone incursion. The threat has been neutralized, and there is no danger to commercial travel in the region. The restrictions have been lifted and normal flights are resuming.

nest and ring are creating a surveillance state 10 times the size the government could ever hope to alone, and we're paying to build it ourselves what do you mean google recovered footage from the unsaved live nest feed the owner didn't even pay a subscription for?

Ring paid somewhere between $8 and $10 million for a 30-second Super Bowl spot to tell 120 million viewers that their cameras now scan neighborhoods using AI. The math is wild. Ring has roughly 20 million devices in American homes. Search Party is enabled by default. The opt-out
if you’re not ripping your ‘Ring’ camera off your house right now and dropping the whole thing into a pot of boiling water what are you doing?

We’ve lost over 10,000 STEM PhDs from the federal workforce in a single year. 10,000. Never thought the U.S. would ever allow this type of brain drain to occur - but here we are.

The billionaires buying elections and paying off politicians, telling you the real threat is a .0001% voter fraud rate and immigrants who aren’t legally allowed to vote, are the existential threat to our country. They want you to blame immigrants so you don’t blame them.

Buttigieg: In a country that amended its constitution so you could not purchase a beer and then realized it was a bad idea and amended it back, surely we can have an amendment clarifying that a corporation is not a person and money is not speech.

When even the Libertarian-Republican wing is saying it!
Abolish ICE. What we’ve seen recently isn’t immigration enforcement; it’s state-sponsored terrorism. They refuse to comply with the Constitution. They assault Americans with impunity. They hide behind masks, knowing their actions are shameful. They should not exist.

Reporter: You said Maduro is responsible for drug trafficking. You recently pardoned the former president of Honduras convicted of drug trafficking. Trump: He was the head of the country. He was persecuted very unfairly. Irony died a thousand deaths.

On the topic of billionaires and wealth taxes in California, I am opposed to wealth taxes because they effectively represent an expropriation of private property and have many unintended and negative consequences that have occurred in every country that has launched such a tax.
The way to fix this problem is to make borrowing an amount in excess of your basis in a stock taxable. In other words, if you have $10 billion of stock in a company you founded with zero basis, loans secured by the stock should be taxable as if you sold a like amount of stock.

Where tf are all the "don't tread on me" folks? This is the exact scenario they have warned about for decades. You can not draw it up any more clearly.
@David_J_Bier One must carry immigration documents as per the INA. A Real ID is not an immigration document.

Hey @repdonbacon - now that the bill has passed the house with veto-proof majority, and the Senate has committed to taking it up, what do you have to say to the American people? You should have been a signer from the jump. U contributed wasteful delay. What do you have to say?
@DocLanceP So… you think this bill will pass Senate and the President? Our measure is more comprehensive and it started yesterday with no need of Senate nor President approval.

My partner works for a fortune 100 company and they're pushing AI internally bigtime to try and reduce costs, but so far no one has gotten it to do more than low level research and pumping out error-filled slide decks. Meanwhile the C suite is constantly demanding their people
I’m seeing a lot of companies saying they are laying people off because of AI. Oddly I’m not seeing any of them lowering prices because of AI.
