Building your business toolbox with AI is fun, for sure - But have you ever had a loved one call you out of the blue and ask you to be a godfather? That there is the GOOD stuff.

I’ve really grown to love installing CLIs in the terminal to enable Claude Code & Codex to do their thing best Except we’re a Microsoft shop and I don’t think there’s an equivalent tool (yet)

Appreciative to wake up at home this morning after spending an extra couple unplanned days in Vallarta!
Vallarta update - things continue to clear up and normalize. A few of our group got flights today that opened up and got to the airport with regular ol’ shuttle service. Airport crowds were a bit packed and federales on location, but lines reportedly moved well despite it all.

This is awesome. I’ve got an outdoor veg garden and I’ve already had Claude lay out the (digital) infrastructure for me to monitor spring planting. I already had moisture probes, raspberry pi boards, cheap cameras, waterproof mounting boxes and PoE cable to put it all together.
We started with a simple question: Can AI sustain life? Turns out? Yes! Claude kept Sol alive from seed to fruit - managing everything autonomously. Water, light, temperature, soil. Just Claude making real-time decisions and adapting. That was the proof of concept. Then the

The worst part of all this... (Besides, you know, the actual homicides and violence that occurred and the fact that I eventually go home but lots of folks have to live amidst the strife after this) ...is that due to the cartel ops and the wedding, the bride never got to have

Was supposed to fly out this afternoon from PVR via American Airlines. That is officially cancelled. “Working on rebooking you.” Friends of mine were supposed to be out on Southwest earlier than me, all flights on SWA through Saturday were cancelled.

Wedding update - the level of both guests AND staff, servers, bartenders and DJs checking their phones is at all time highs. Lots of monitoring the situation over here.

Talked to staff here at the resort on security plans. Lockdown order came down earlier today, no one allowed in/out of the resort until govt gives the all-clear. There’s a large gate and guardhouse at the road entrance. I wouldn’t call it official embassy levels of ‘hardened’

I’m currently in Vallarta this weekend for a wedding. Supposed to fly home tomorrow. TBD on if narcoblockades and car fires get cleared up in next 24hr, and airport is also open. Currently working through Plan B options if I can’t stay here another night. Anyone have

From professional experience firsthand - the big CRE institutions have in-house developer teams and build their own bespoke software for nearly everything. There’s always exceptions, but these prove the rule rather than invalidate it.
90% of Proptech is nonsense/vaporware made by 2 types of founders: 1) tech guys who don’t understand real estate 2) CRE guys who know nothing about tech, but are discontent with the income they’re making and see it as their path to riches.

I was/am a pretty good tennis player. Which is funny, because I didn’t have any coaches growing up. Just a racket, a garage door and a driveway. And boredom. (Grew up in a rural area so I didn’t have 30 kids within biking distance.) Anywho, I played up the ranks and had a
Pro athletes are literally built differently. I went to high school with 2 successful MLB pitchers. Craziest story came from freshman year: During tryouts, one of the tests they had us do was to see how far we could throw a baseball. We walked out to the football practice field

None of these are prototypes. Not demos. Production repos with real data, real APIs, being actively used by myself and others. I'm not using Clawdbot / OpenClaw at all either. I don't know if that yields another 10x in productivity. I'm already implementing ideas as fast as I
