I struggled with this a lot as a school leader. The culture of the building is shaped by what we PROMOTE…but also what we PERMIT. The people who work the hardest get frustrated when behaviors of those that don’t are tolerated. #LeadFromWhereYouAre

I’m so excited and ready to learn at @ASCD‘s Leadership Summit!

The best piece of advice I’ve ever received on leadership: It’s not about being the loudest voice in the room, it’s about being the most consistent. Show up, lead by example, and stay true to your values. People will follow consistency more than charisma.
