This past Feb my home Orthopaedic residency program lost its accreditation. And this past March I matched into a general surgery preliminary position, after applying into Orthopaedics & going unmatched. I am an undrafted free agent with All Star potential, I just need a chance.

This man made the heartbreaking decision in 2022 to surrender his dog after he was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for her. He just got the news he's in remission, and immediately adopted her again. 14/10 for both

to know how to manage certain situations & to be confident when confronted with difficult decisions. I am so proud of myself for not giving up.

The excitement of sharing experiences w/ my intern colleagues, the hospital staff, & others have made me realize the importance & significance of the challenges I had previously faced;

My current rotation, surgery, has been particularly tough. The hours are long, & the work is demanding. Most nights, I get home, shower, talk briefly to my husband, & go to bed within an hour’s time. Regardless of my exhaustion, I am overjoyed beyond measure to be where I am.
