Our fantastic senior girls team took on a very talented @GCanPhiarsaigh team this week in Tymon Park & even though the result didn’t go their way they performed so well & did the school proud. Well done girls & coaches Ms Crowe & Ms Young 💙🤍💛

This week was Drop Everything and Read in TCS. We’re keeping up the great work started by Ms Sheeran, continued by Ms Allsopp & all the English Dept. Is there any investment better than an imagination and sense of escape? Our school loved the quiet time to read 💙🤍💛

As part of our Cultúr na nGael module, some of our TY students attended a fantastic talk with @sdublincoco historian Liz Gillis, on a journey through Irish history exploring where placenames come from. The trip embodied "Being Connected" through language, culture and community

Our soccer teams were in action this week! Our girls junior team won their cup game 2-1, the boys U17 & U19 teams both had narrow 2-1 defeats, while our U15 boys went through to the last 16 of the @faischools Leinster Cup with a 2-0 win. Well done to all teams 💪💪 💙🤍💛

It’s 8:20 am and our school canteen is humming! Students queueing for the freshly cooked breakfast from Lisa in the school kitchen. Over 300 visit students visit every morning in their regular morning breakfast groups chatting in a phone-free environment. 💙🤍💛

Our 3rd year student Dyzile Estrada won the Gold Medal in the 42kg division of the @worldtaekwondo Riga Open, defeating her Danish opponent in the final. The event attracts 148 teams from 46 countries. Dyzile, that performance is world class! We’re so proud of you👏 💙🤍💛

Ms Cawley & Ms Reddy & our 6th years were delighted to start year 2 of their mentor programme with @Arup ! Huge thanks to all the mentors for their time and tailored one to one support for our students! It’s a link we really appreciate in the school 🤝 💙🤍💛

Ms Crowe & TYs attended an Irish Storytelling workshop with High Rock Productions in the Civic Theatre where they acted out scenes from Oisín i dTír na nÓg. Honourable mention goes to Seán Kelly who won the award for Aisteoir is Fearr(Best actor). Beatha teanga í a labhairt.👏
