Finally, 5. The NHS needs to improve its engagement with its 3rd sector partners. We add value, bringing expertise, resources, and the voices of people affected by cancer at no cost to the NHS. Meaningful engagement and involvement is key to creating solutions that work. 7:9.

4. Issues with cancer data hampers our ability to forecast, identify inequalities, and respond effectively. Investment in data input, analysis and reporting is critical. We've spoken out about the poor collection of ethnicity data in Wales 6:9.

3. The immediate rollout of the lung cancer screening programme will save around 200 lives per year. It will position Wales as a global leader in this area by being one of the first countries to deliver an all-nation programme for its citizens. 5:9.

2. Wales urgently needs a longer-term strategy for cancer. @WHO recommends that every country has a cancer strategy. 4:9.

In our response to the report we make the following calls: .1. The @WalesAudit report should be reviewed by the @SeneddWales Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee to ensure robust scrutiny and accountability. 3:9.

The report validates concerns we have regarding the oversight, leadership and lack of a cohesive strategy. @WelshGovernment must respond, establishing governance and oversight arrangements that are fit for purpose into the future. 2:9.

In our letter to @SeneddFinance (shared with other Senedd Committees, the Secretary of State for Wales and @CommonsWelshAff) our CEO @judirhys calls on the UK Government to reverse its decision, or for the Welsh Government to help mitigate the impact. 5:8.

The £250,000 cost of the additional contributions are the equivalent of running our benefits advice service, which secures over £4m in essential benefits for people affected by cancer. 4:8.

Our charity provides services such as counselling, nurse-led support and benefits advice free of charge and exclusively to the NHS. Yet we are not eligible for any additional support. 3:8.

We are deeply disappointed and frustrated at the lack of recognition of the devastating impact of the increase will have on charities that provide NHS and other public services. We simply cannot sit back and take the hit. 2:8.
