Yeah it’s tricky. On/offs can be useful, but they can also be misleading because they mix a player’s individual value with a lot of contextual noise. That’s why advanced metrics like RAPM, Lebron, or Raptor are better bc they try to adjust for lineup and opponent context.
There was a point post all Star break last season where the numbers said Vegas was better with A’ja off the floor.
