Yes, cold plunges can increase calorie expenditure… by .22 cal per minute. So if you spend 10 minutes in a cold plunge you’ve burned 2.2 calories. While I’m an advocate for cold plunging for reducing acute inflammation to enhance performance, it’s the absolute dumbest strategy
