What is wrong with that?. "Joe Kadenge situations" often results in govt being accused of abandoning our local heroes. If the funds go along way in empowering the players, I see nothing wrong with it. I would however champion a more structured investment in the sport.
Just think about it:. KES 1B divided among 33 footballers = KES 30M each (if it ever happens). That same 1B could:.🔹 Train & equip over 10,000 youths. 🔹 Fund 6-month internships programmes for 11,000+ youths. 🔹 Support MSMEs which could hire over 7k young people. 🥲🥲.
