Forget the cookies & milk, #Santa will need electrolytes & hydration this year. #NorthPole #HeatWave
Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where local legend places 🎅Santa’s workshop, is looking more ♨️toasty than☃️frosty for this time of year. Climate change may have Santa breaking a sweat, and the sleigh runway could be a little… slushy.

We had many accomplishments to be proud of in 2024, but this was one of the most rewarding. Using #solarpower to give deserving organizations abundant #cleanenergy lets them focus on serving community needs. #equitymatters

Scientists at @ClimateCentral found #climatechange effects on ocean temperatures caused maximum wind speeds in 80% of Atlantic Basin hurricanes from 2019-2023 to intensify by ~18 miles per hour. They also found 2024 hurricanes increased by 9-24 MPH. https://t.co/yCc6SYP75m

We can't lower global temps or reduce CO2 in the atmosphere today any more that we can lose in one day the 30 lbs we need to get off. But we can adopt daily, local, personal habits that add up to long-term, lasting change. Then we can vote for & work for broader systemic change.
Climate Change: It's real. It's us. It's serious - and already dangerous. But there are solutions. The science is clear: the faster we cut emissions, the less suffering we will cause, and the better off we'll all be.
