Although it may look like we were old friends, these photos are from the FIRST TIME

and I met Bobby Plager. He was so kind, generous, and genuine that he made me feel like I had known him forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family and his

Sincere congratulations to Fred Bodimer on his induction into the St. Louis Media Hall of Fame last night! So well-deserved. There is no better human than Fred. It was fabulous. And, bonus...we got to meet his neighbor Joyce the shirt-supplier.

while the real one is happening, & I go along when I can. When I asked how we were going to do the Pyrenees today, he said "There's a big hill behind Lowe's." He rocks.
My favorite thing so far in Barcelona has been La Sagrada Familia. Antoni Gaudi took over as principal architect in 1883 and it is scheduled to be completed in 2026. It is truly amazing.

A day in the life of year-old Oscar the Bulldog...eat, sleep, go for a walk, pester everyone, chew some things, nap. Oh, and snore. Lots of snoring and being adorable.
The oldest person who ran the Houston Marathon today was 89, and the youngest was 12. We are neither. Just 3 friends who survived and ate a lot of food afterwards.

I got to spend time with 8-week-old bulldog puppies and my ❤️ almost exploded from the cuteness! AND, they are my Oscar's nieces...it's almost too much!

My favorite flowers are peonies, and they have just started blooming! Shout out to Dave Murray for letting me know when to cover them during this blackberry winter!

If you like hearing the stories that make up the history of St. Louis, you may enjoy my new show. (Hopefully you will!) It airs Saturdays on KMOX at 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. depending on Cardinals games, and 7 a.m. Sundays on KFTK.
Someone stole a St. Louis City ambulance from St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights this morning between 5:20 and 5:30 a.m. It is a Ford, with Medic 26 plates.
