Aqiqa is a tradition that many Muslims follow on the 7th day. It involves practices such as shaving baby's head and distribution meat to the poor (which can be done all over the world) as an act of charity and showing gratitude for the birth of a baby.

Today @SupportMECIC directors Anna and Manisha met with @DOckendenLtd and discussed how we can support diverse family involvement in the @OckReview. We are hopeful that this review will put families' voices at the centre of maternity improvements in Nottingham.
