Huge admiration for Alex. In male dominated industries the stakes are high when women - particularly women of colour - take a stand. Let’s make sure she gets just as much support as Gary and the lads should she end up needing it.

Hey @RobBAylesbury why did you vote FOR sewage dumping in rivers and coasts? After supporting Boris then Liz, am really beginning to question your judgment for #AYLESBURY
Last night, 292 Conservative MPs voted to allow sewage dumping by water companies in our rivers and coasts for at least 15 more years. Can you spot your MP on the list?

It's the time of year we must all take a quiet moment to remember the "Leave it, Tony, he's not worth it" Christmas card.

As many of us will be disappointed about the #England game tonight, the impact this will have on survivors is much more severe. Football doesn't cause #DomesticAbuse but it can heighten existing abuse. Stand with survivors 👉 share this post. #EngUSA #EnglandVsUSA #HesComingHome

The more I think about this the more angry I am. I’m just not having MPs who have had a £20,000 rise in the last 10 years telling nurses who have had a real terms cut that their pay claim isn’t realistic. RT if you will back every nurse that strikes.

Extended Windfall Tax would bring in further £4bn, and end to non-dom status £3.2bn. You say you’re making ‘difficult’ decisions but if your default is always cuts, then that’s not difficult at all. To you it’s easy. It doesn’t HAVE to be cuts, if you look a little harder.

@RishiSunak It doesn’t HAVE to be cuts. Business Fraud costs £20bn a year. Go after that. Tech like Amazon / Google owe us £1bn a year. Go for them and backdate it. Name and shame the companies that cost us £9bn in useless PPE, or who defrauded Furlough Scheme by £4bn. (1/2)

Just about every recognised creative process involves a period of incubation, recognising that and giving yourself some cognitive space is vital.

Because she was Prime Minister for 6 weeks, Liz Truss will be able to claim a £115,000 annual allowance for the rest of her life. Meanwhile, 1 in 7 people in the UK are skipping meals to pay their bills.

Please, please watch this.
"I didn't take the job on to starve children." This dinner lady is dreading going back to work in October and fears many of the school's pupils will not be able to afford lunch. @eiecampaign
