Abu Talib not accepting Islam can be a proof of prophethood. After he refused to say the shahadah on his deathbed the Prophet ﷺ said "I will seek forgiveness for you, so long as I am not prohibited from doing so".
Raza, previously of
@BayatalGhadeer
, explains why he has left Twelver Shiism and reformed his stances on revered Sunni figures such as Abu Bakr, Omar and Aisha, may Allah be pleased with them. May Allah make Raza a guidance for Shias, ameen.
Raza has made public tawbah from Shia shirk and bid’ah, condemned major Shia scholars and announced that he has left Bayat Al Ghadeer.
@bu_noor89
reacts.
The Shia claim that 1st century hadith narrators/compilers fabricated narrations to oppose a 3rd century sect whose beliefs weren’t fully formulated until the 5th century and who were not widely known until the 7th century. Delusional.
Shia Seerah:
-Prophet is born
-Becomes Prophet
-Ali becomes a Muslim
-Ali sleeps in his bed (hijra)
-Ali wins all the battles single handedly
-Ali reverses the Sun’s orbit
-Ali gives beggar zakat while he’s praying
-Ali is proclaimed successor
-Prophet dies
The End

Allah then sent the verse: It is not for the Prophet & those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists even if they were relatives (9:113)
If he ﷺ was inventing verses as he went along why would he invent a verse that stops him doing something he wanted to do?
Terms like “wahhabi” and “takfeeri” are used by Shia scholars to make their followers believe that only a minority of “extremists” reject their beliefs.
The truth is that the vast majority of Muslims reject the views of their small deviant sect.
We need to stop referring to the Sunni “sect”. Ahlul Sunnah are not a sect. They are the جماعة (community/majority) of the Muslims. The ones who split from this community are the فراق (sects). Do not degrade Ahlul Sunnah to the level of the deviant sects.
Due to embarrassment,
@themuslimvibe
has filed a defamation case against our documentary resulting in it being blocked in the UK. We will appeal the decision. Those in the UK can still view it using a VPN.
Expect a video response.
Sunnis are the defenders of Ahlul Bait against the slander of the Shia. We are the ones standing on their side, not the Shia. We are the spokespeople for Ahlul Bait, not the Shia.
Did you know that the daughter of Husayn bin Ali (ra) married the grandson of Othman ibn Affan (ra)?
Fatimah bint Husayn married Abdullah bin Amr bin Othman bin Affan. They had a son named Muhammad, also known as Al-Deebaj because of his handsomeness.

It is finally here!
Iranian Shi’ism Exposed
"A chilling eye opening documentary" exposing the reality of Iranian Twelver Shi'ism and its deceptive post Khomeinist revolution calls for Sunni- Shia unity.
A MUST WATCH for all Sunnis.
Do you enjoy Shia Shaikh Azhar Nasser's witty tweets? Is he truly a man of wisdom or is he someone that just steals the wisdom of others?
Somebody please teach
@ShaykhAzhar
how to use the retweet button.
Shiis will find the most obscure references to the most obscure events in the most obscure Sunni sources but they cannot find a single clear reference to their 12 Imams in the Quran.
According to Shiism, ‘Ali (ra), who had the Knowledge of the Unseen, allowed Ibn Muljim to stab him because he wasn’t allowed to use his powers. Grown men actually believe this.
You may be wondering why
@MuftiAbuLayth
feels the need to attack
@Farid_0v
. It it likely because Farid contributed to multiple videos on Sunni Defense demonstrating what an absolute heretic & fool Abu Layth is. Here's a playlist of all our videos on him:
According to Shia scolars, ‘Ali (ra)
>married his daughter to
>accepted the Khums from
>took gifts in the form of women and lands from
>served in the government of
>named his son after
>and eulogised
the guy that beat up and killed his wife.
How it started: "Trust me, tawassul and istighatha are no different than asking someone to pass you ketchup or salt from across the table"
How it ended up:
Shias: “Abu Bakr is probably in the top 5 worst people ever, he was very very bad!”
Imams the Shias claim to follow:
- Named their kids after him
- Marry his descendants
- Praise him as the best Sahabi
A great perk of being a Sunni Muslim is that you can follow Ahlul Bayt without needing to exaggerate and without having to make mass takfir upon the Muslimeen.
Sunni: Where are your 12 Imams mentioned in the Quran?
Shia: Uhhhh... but MuAwiYa fOuGhT aLi TaRaWIh iS iNnOvATiOn UmAR rAn aWaY iN uHuD wAhHaBiS KilLeD iMaM HuSsEiN
We are pleased to share with you our new logo. We’ll also be dropping the “The” from our name and will now be known as “Sunni Defense”.
Thank you for all the support guys ❤️❤️❤️
Question to the Shia:
Did you know that the salawat is a dua that we make for the Prophet (saws) and his family?
So if we make dua for them, why would we ever make dua to them?
The Prophet ﷺ said:
إذا سألت فاسأل الله وإذا استعنت فاستعن بالله
"When you ask (for anything), ask it from Allah, and if you seek help, seek help from Allah.”
If he ﷺ was alive & said this today, grave worshippers would surely reply "what if I need someone to pass me salt?"
We are all for Islamic unity. We call upon every follower of a deviant sect to abandon their deviancy and rejoin the community of Muslims. Just like Ali (ra) advised the Khawarij.
Umar رضي الله عنه was a martyr who was killed while leading the muslims in the Fajr prayer, the very prayer that Muhammad ﷺ described as being the most burdensome for the hypocrites
#Authentic_Merits_of_Umar
On a plain reading of the Qur'an, minus any mental gymnastics or mind bending ta'weel, would anyone ever get the impression that they need to call upon other than Allah in times of need or for any other situation?
We are pleased to announce that we are changing our name from “Sunni Defense” to “Sunnah Discourse”, which is a better refection of our content and vision.

Today marks two years since the assassination of Qasem Soleimani. In this video
@bu_noor89
highlights Soleimani’s legacy of crimes against Ahlul Sunnah.
Our investigation into
@themuslimvibe
resulted in some worrying findings and raised big red flags about the organisation. Watch our new documentary to find out more:
If Shia clerics really knew Fatima, they would never accuse her of walking into a masjid and giving a khutba.
If they really knew Zaynab bint Ali, they would never accuse her of ripping off her hijab at Karbala.
There is only one group who call themselves Muslims that are indispensable.
You can get rid of every group - Zaydis, Ismailis, Twelvers, Ahmadis, Bahaais, Ibadis and you would lose nothing.
Get rid of Ahlul Sunnah and Islam crumbles into dust.
The superiority of mainstream (Sunni) Islam is evident from the fact that it doesn’t require esoteric interpretations to prove its core beliefs.
Once you understand this, all other versions of Islam seem silly in comparison.
A documentary offering a balanced outlook on Muawiya (RA) and the Muslim civil war, addressing many doubts propagated against him by the likes of Dr. Hatim al-Awni.
This is the standard "asking someone to pass you ketchup" analogy. A go to for many grave/saint worshippers who are unable to distinguish between dua and day to day requests or conversations with people.
They're either really stupid or pretending to be really stupid.
We need to stop saying “Sunni” & “Shia”.
This is inaccurate and confers undeserved legitimacy to those who differ from the vast community & majority of Muslims.
We should instead say “mainstream Islam” and then “small deviant sects”.
Today Iran is a majority Shia country due to the mass killings of Sunnis, the Sunni scholars and the forced conversion of the population to Shiism by the Safawids.
Shia scholar Nematullah al-Jazairi says in his Anwar un Numania, 1/27:
"When Ismail reached Shiraz, where most of the scholars there were Sunnis; he gathered them & ordered them to curse the three caliphs, but they refused...so he ordered to kill them"
We don’t want unity with a small sect that slanders the Sahabah, curses the Prophet’s wives, mocks the Ummah and promotes shirk.
Want unity? I’ll tell you what ‘Ali said to the Khawarij:
“Stick with the great sea of Muslims, for the Hand of Allah is with the Majority.”
We are happy to announce brother
@MortTMM
from the Mad Mamluks & MuzzyBuzz podcasts as a new Sunni Defense host. May Allah make this partnership a benefit to the ummah.
Shias miss the point of Islam. To them it’s all about who can exaggerate the most about certain members of Ahlul Bait. This is why they fall into lies and shirk.
They are obsessed with Yazid, while we are obsessed with Tawhid.
The Shia obession with Ahlul Bait is like modern celebrity worship. Building shrines for them, tattooing their names and images on their bodies. Hanging posters of them in their houses. If Ahlul Bait were alive they’d take out restraining orders against them.
We get accused of being extremists and causing division. Go and look at the amount of anti-Sunni polemical groups on social media, and compare them to the handful of Sunnis who engage in polemics against the Shia. We are like a drop in the ocean.
Shias: The Prophet (saws) died knowing his companions were all hypocrites, his daughter would be killed shortly after him and his religion corrupted.
Sunnis: He died content and pleased with his companions, knowing Islam would be in a state of glory for a long time after him.
Salat at-Taraweeeh led by a young boy in the city of Tangier, Morocco. This is how Ahl as-Sunnah have excelled in the memorisation and recitation of the book of Allah.
May Allah make us from the people of Qur'an.
اللهم اجعلنا من اهل القرآن، الذين هم أهلك وخاصتك
It has come to our attention that a Christian apologetics channel has claimed they will be debating a member of Sunni Defense. No such debate has been arranged by anyone at Sunni Defense, nor do we intend on being involved in Islam- Christianity polemics at the present time.
According to Shia scholars Al-Husayn (ra) died to save Islam on the day of Ashura.
If that is true then we should avoid corrupting Islam by introducing innovated practices in his name. He would not have wanted that.
After Fatima (ra) died ‘Ali (ra) married 7 times and had almost 30 children. He was given the highest salary of any government employee and was lavished with gifts and properties. He was a respected judge and adviser.
Does this sound like an oppressed, grieving, downtrodden man?

How dare us wahhabi nasibi omaris spend the nights of Ramadan performing taraweeh (bed'at e omar) instead of doing this beautiful sunnah of putting the mushaf on your head
Our Shia friends have been brainwashed by Iranian 'Ayatollahs' who can't even recite Surah al-Fatihah halfway decently, that praying to Allah alone in congregation during Ramadan is a diabolic plot instigated by Umar (ra). The evil plot of encouraging people to pray to Allah…
We should never despair over the plight of Muslims in any land. History has demonstrated that Allah will cause Islam to prevail everywhere. The Ummah will witness the victory of Islam in every land they are oppressed, be it India, China or Iran. It’s only a matter of time.
It’s a very simple but powerful statement.
Ahlul Sunnah, or “Sunnis”, are not a sect.
They are the orthodox, mainstream, normal Muslims.
If you are a Sunni it is your duty to correct this fallacy anytime you read it or hear it.
In Surah Al Baqarah verse 177 Allah سبحانه وتعالىٰ has told us what is required for us to be a true believer: Belief in Allah, His books, His Prophets, His Angels and belief in the last day, but there is no mention or even hint of the belief in Imamah! Can the Shia explain why?
‘Umar (ra) loved the family of the Prophet (saws) so much that he showered them with gifts. He gave ‘Ali (ra) the land of Yanbu’, which was one of the richest lands in Arabia.
#Authentic_Merits_of_Umar
To accept Twelver Shiism, we must believe:
- the 1st/2nd century Muslims spent all their time making up Prophetic narrations and history
- the true religion was preserved by 3rd century Kufans whose books are just bad imitations of the aforementioned fabricating Muslims
Sunni version of history: compiled in the first and second centuries with abundant sources and solid chains of transmission.
Shia version: Compiled in the 3rd and 4th century with mass fabrications and shoddy chains of transmission.
لَيْسُواْ سَوَاء
I often see hardcore
#Sunni
accounts condemning the
#Shia
, for the latter "denigrate the

," the Prophet's companions.
They can't realize that this is because the Shia have a different version of the history of early Islam.
And the Sunni history is just another version.
If Muhammad (saws) was the greatest man to ever live, and hence the greatest teacher, reformer and guide - why would he need successors?
Did he not do good enough of a job?

Who are the true believers according to the Quran?
Allah swt says: Those who believed, migrated and struggled in the cause of Allah (Muhajireen) and those who gave them shelter and help (Ansaar), they are the true believers. They will have forgiveness and an honourable provision
A telling response from one of the most influential Shia scholars in the West to being challenged on his lies and views on Karbala such as that the head of Hussain (ra) continued speaking after being decapitated and a Christian priest rented it to learn from it.
The “Sunni” system of succession is community consensus (ideally) or kingship etc - i.e. a realistic system that was successful for a millennium.
The Twelver Shia system of succession is 12 divinely appointed successors the last of which has been MIA for a millennium.
