Abu Talib not accepting Islam can be a proof of prophethood. After he refused to say the shahadah on his deathbed the Prophet ﷺ said "I will seek forgiveness for you, so long as I am not prohibited from doing so".

The Shia claim that 1st century hadith narrators/compilers fabricated narrations to oppose a 3rd century sect whose beliefs weren’t fully formulated until the 5th century and who were not widely known until the 7th century. Delusional.

Terms like “wahhabi” and “takfeeri” are used by Shia scholars to make their followers believe that only a minority of “extremists” reject their beliefs. The truth is that the vast majority of Muslims reject the views of their small deviant sect.

We need to stop referring to the Sunni “sect”. Ahlul Sunnah are not a sect. They are the جماعة (community/majority) of the Muslims. The ones who split from this community are the فراق (sects). Do not degrade Ahlul Sunnah to the level of the deviant sects.
