Maybe there should be levels of flood risk instead of just Watch and Warning. Maybe levels 1-5 that could pinpoint or identify areas more at risk due to rain and upstream rain. @NWS.
All I'll say is this. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Kerr County more than 12 hours ahead of the catastrophic flood. A flash flood warning was issued for Hunt & Ingram 3 HOURS before the Guadalupe started to climb. They did their job and they did it well.

This right here is the gospel. You can't be good enough. God is the standard of what is good. Apart from Jesus, you can not enter heaven. Seek Him now.
Hell is filled with those the world called 'good' moral, decent, respectable but lost without Christ. Heaven is filled with sinners—.not sinless, but blood-washed,.not worthy, but redeemed. Salvation was never about being good enough, but about being cleansed by the Lamb.

Americanized food tastes better to American palates. Of course. That does not mean that the original is bad or not tasty. Local food, the way the locals like it, is fun, interesting, and eye-opening.
Americanized versions of Mexican food are better. Americans make better tacos and much better guacamole. The "authentic" version of third world cuisine is usually not as good as the first world variation.
