Amazing work by our teams on this. The tree is fabulous and was great to see it finished this week. Thanks #teamRMBC
This December, we’re honored to showcase the love and dedication of our foster carers with a unique display in Rotherham’s town hall: a tree decorated with 501 green handprints, symbolizing each child currently in our care. Each bauble on this tree contains heartfelt messages

Last week, our foster carers took a walk with the alpacas in Tickhill. Here's what one of our carers said: "We have loved it! It's been so therapeutic walking the Alpacas and being out in the fresh air, but we have equally enjoyed being with a lovely bunch of fellow carers

Will was fostered by Mike when he was younger. In the 'Everything' film, he reflects on his childhood growing up in foster care. 'Everything' is a national film that we're proud to have a part in. This film shows us what a difference foster carers can do for children in care.

We often think about the ‘here & now’ when considering the impact and influence foster carers have on the children and young people in their care. For me, this brings to the forefront the life long impact they have. Truly special people 💜
Have you seen our new film 'Everything'? Our foster carers are at the heart of everything at Fostering Rotherham. All over the UK, there are so many foster carers making a difference to local children's lives. 'Everything' follows foster carer Mike and the care experienced

Our Kinship carers across Rotherham and beyond are truly remarkable people.
It's @kinshipcharity week and we want to acknowledge the incredible work our kinship carers offer. Kinship carers are family or friends who care for a child when their birth parents can't, often in an unexpected crisis. We really value our wider family of care here at Rotherham-

Maria is one of many truly remarkable people who open their homes to care for our children and young people. Society needs people like Maria - forever grateful.
Maria was approved to foster 9 years ago, when her grandchildren were growing up. It was Maria’s family who first encouraged her to consider fostering and she has now looked after many children. Read her story: https://t.co/IQ3qWotroi
