It’s wild that in 2025, 3 of the 5 top digital world content creation tools used by creatives are permissively licensed open source: Blender, Godot, and Comfy UI (versus source-available Unreal Engine and freely-available Unity). 5 years ago it was 0/5.
I think @ComfyUI exists in an interesting inbetween space of AI artist and Artist because it is so highly technical to use, professional, open source, and can be local, it can sometimes be considered more artistic than AI. It gets the (deserved) respect of being at the edge and
