The trouble with becoming a grandparent for the first time in your late 60's is the possibility of not witnessing milestones in their lives. It breaks my heart I probably won't see either grandchild finish school let alone find life partners. Sad thought. 😔.

The idea in Christianity is that God is the only being with the ability to truly forgive and absolve sins. So humans make mistakes and even commit sins, and God forgives them for it. Therefore, when we forgive each other, we are all following God's example.
